Sky Scholfield is a Wintu, Pit River, and Wailacki producer with 15 years of experience in local media. In all of his work he strives to connect media with philanthropy and community. He holds a Journalism degree from Cal Poly Humboldt. Major projects include producing shows like Blue Dot in Chico, CA and creating local food show Modern Rural: Great American Recipe in Redding, CA. He interned at the National Museum of the American Indian in New York and also served as UN Representative for the Youth Caucus Permanent Forum for Indigenous Issues.
Sky is currently creating the Pit River Documentary to tell the stories of elders and spiritual leaders in the Northeastern corner of California. Outside of work, he makes music.
